Every year the understanding of the importance of human resources in achieving the goals of any company is becoming more and more evident. Professions such as HR specialists, teamwork consultants, coaches to improve leadership competencies and so on are gaining in popularity more and more. Company executives are increasing budgets for the development of HR departments, outsourcing specialists and no longer laughing at the phrase "nonfinancial motivation" .At the same time the role of national identity and equality is growing at the same time, which poses new challenges to managers of international companies to comply with a variety of formal and informal rules related to the expansion of the company on a global level. This paper is devoted to the analysis of current realities in the field of personnel management, their theoretical foundations and their impact on business performance, as well as those aspects that can improve the level of development of personnel management in the future.
